I love the plastic covers and the screw spacing. The only thing that prevents me from giving a 5 Star rating is that I wish it came with 3 Red connectors instead of 2. I had to use another black for a positive and then paint the black with Red nail polish. Or add an option to choose the colors at purchase.

One drawback; there is not a pressure plate behind the connecting screw. When inserting wire for connecting, the rotation of the screw tends to move the wire. Solution: insert the wire so that the rotation of the screw draws the wire towards the center of the screw.

My only gripe would be they should include different size joining pins so one bus can have more than one set of two or more common source connections. Otherwise, very good quality, I would buy again.

The screw comes completely out and the plate loose, so you can use a ring lug or a spade terminal. The screws are 3.9mm (0.157 in) in diameter, and the plate width 9.95mm (.4in). It isn't made clear what size spade terminal you will need. The common stud size spade fork that fits is an 8 - 10 for 22-16 gauge wire. A 4 - 6 stud size will not fit.

These work great if you have a bunch of ground or positive wires to connect. I wouldn't try to run a huge amount of amps through them. The bridges work well. The screw terminal on one side are internally bridged to the corresponding screw on the opposite side. Using the external bridge will make all terminal on the block either positive or negative from on source wire.

I used them to wire a pair of tweeters in the rear door panels of my truck, so that I'd have a way to disconnect them without having to undo them directly at the crossovers and pulling the wire out of the door. If I had to do that then I'd have to remove the woofers from the door to run them again every time I needed to remove the door panel. Now all I have to do is disconnect the four wires from the tweeters and then set the panel to the side...reinstall them when I'm ready to put the panel back on again.
