FYI, this is a very thick,stiff and heavy cable, not really all that flexible but can handle any power load and seems build like a tank.

Functionally the cable works to handle a 25 foot run to the other side of the house to handle 2m radio service. What impresses me is the cable is stiff, but it can be easily straightened and curved as needed. Very satisfied with the product.

The coax appears to be of very good quality. I am using it with a recently purchased President McKinley and a horizontal dipole antenna. The antenna is only up about 7 feet from the ground on one end with the other end sloping to about 5 1/2 feet. In addition, the antenna is close to my house and not too far from power lines. Even with this compromise I’m getting an SWR of 1.2 on channel 1, 1.4 on channel 20 and 1.6 on channel 40, which is perfectly acceptable to me. If I wasn’t so lazy I’m sure I could tweak the antenna for better results. I??m happy with my purchase. Thank you.

This company makes quality cables which cost a little more but are well worth it. Especially if your running a feed line to a outside antenna. I use JEFA whenever i can.

Used this to run an antenna to the roof for a gmrs radio. Worked great. After uncoiling it it didn’t take much to get it to lay flat and not Bunch back up. Don??t have a meter to test it. But works for what I need.

This is my second purchase from Jefa Tech and this cable is extremely well constructed. I used this for. Feedline to my antenna and the difference it made is very obvious with reduced noise and lower loss when transmitting. Worth the extra cost over the lower grade coax.

This cable came on time and in good condition. Please note that I bought the 25 ft cable rather than the 1 ft jumper currently listed. The Pl-259 end connections were well-made with no excess solder and were sealed to the coax with substantial, resilient heat shrink tubing. I got the RG-213 rather than cheaper RG-58 or RG-8X to reduce transmission losses from my basement VHF/UHF transceiver. For the 25 ft run to my outdoor dual-band antenna, the power loss would be 59% with RG-8X at 440 MHz or 82% with RG-58 vs. only 34% with the RG-213. Worth the extra bucks IMHO.

At the time of writing this review this white LMR 400 coax was $40.00 less than the black coax and it functions just a s good. My SWR on my base station 11 meter set up is 1.2. The only negative which is true for all solid core LMR400 is the stiffness. It takes a little muscle to run the coax where you need it.

All the little electrons are directed right where they’re supposed to go! No RFI detectable in these cables despite being located in my RF-noisy ham shack. I would buy this product again.

Good for my 2-way radio application 50 foot is what I received and well satisfied , Just for info on the cable though the outer shield will not Solder , the center conductor is fine but again if you plan to solder to shield it will not as that part is not copper . Again it worked very well for me though I just used a crimp style connect So 4 stars Guys .

I use the MPD-400 (LMR400) coax for all my radio stuff - jumpers, antenna runs, HF, VHF, UHF - you name it. I have yet to find a situation where the performance isn't acceptable, and assembly and connectors have always been top notch.

So much has changed with Ham and CB radio since the late 70's. I bought these to use with my new meter, SWR Power boxes. I read that this wire worked better than RG8U and RG58U cable. I be-leave that they do work better.

I have used these cables for FM radio transmission, cable quality is a real RG213/U low loss, with professionals PL259 terminals. I bought these cables because my old cables 'homemade' with terminals soldered by me, do not give the same performance, with the risk that may come to be in short-circuit.
