The BNC RF fixed attenuator adopts a coaxial in-line design, with a BNC male connector at one end and a BNC female connector at the other end. This RF attenuator prevents signal overload in amplifiers, receivers and detectors by adjusting the signal level to the optimum power range.

RF attenuators can effectively ensure that the signal is at an appropriate level when entering the mixer, thereby preventing overload, gain compression and distortion. This device provides a variable fine control attenuation in a very wide frequency range.

Attenuators are widely used in electronic equipment. In measurement applications, attenuators can be used as decoupling to reduce the effect of loading on the reference signal source. In audio engineering, attenuators are used as power control devices.
