Knowledge about SSMA connectors
SSMA male coaxial connectors are available in RG174, RG316, and RG188 interface types with 50 Ohm impedance. SSMA male connectors use shielding/contact solder/solder as the connection method.
SSMA coaxial connectors have Nickel plated brass bodies.
The SSMA uses a 10-36 threaded coupling and is essentially a smaller version of the SMA.
The interface features compact construction, high frequency bandwidth, and high mechanical reliability. The male contacts are designed to be the same size as the cable conductor so they can be used as matched pins for optimized VSWR.
The SSMA connector is an RF connector with a nominal impedance of 50 ohms. Common applications include military aviation, telecommunications, RFID, antennas, test and measurement, and radar systems.
