The TNC connector series is a miniature threaded weatherproof series with a constant 50 Ωimpedance and a frequency range of DC to 11 GHz. The TNC series shares its contact design with the BNC series, utilizing a threaded coupling nut to achieve a stronger fit and higher frequency performance than BNC.
TNC connectors are manufactured in both standards and reverse polarity. Reverse polarity is a keying system implemented through a reverse interface that ensures that the reverse polarity interface connector does not match the standard interface connector.
