Well made, and the soldering of the ends was well done. If you're using LMR-400 for your main transmission line, this RG-213/U, which is still pretty stiff, is not as stiff as LMR-400. Very low insertion loss, so better than using something like RG-59 as a jumper if you're working VHF and above.

Good quality cable. Connectors are already soldered on. And each connection is covered with shrink wrap. You couldn't buy the cable and connectors and shrink wrap and solder and save any money. Worth the hassle of buying the jumpers already made.

Very pleased with this cable. This is truly a low loss heavy duty cable. I used it to set up a CB/Ham antenna on my outback trailer.

I am a HAM radio operator. There are so many opinions about coax. I use these exclusively on all my equipment. I have never gotten a bad cable. Works great, and great price and quality.

But it is frankly way too stiff for use in many applications. The shielding on the cable is so substantial that it is extremely difficult to use in tight spaces.

Purchased for portable amateur radio station deployment. Holding up well after multiple outings. Solid construction in both the 50 foot length and the jumper cables.

Great Quality cable but the crimped ends gave me problems. This is the second time I bought this '100 length for replacement because the first cable was damaged during a storm. I strung it from top of tower down to unit and had intermittent connection, variable high SWR spikes that was caused by loose crimped connections on each end. The issue was later found after it was checked with a rig expert analyzer (highly recommended). I kept the cable and custom installed new soldered ends (pl-239) doing away with the crimped style (experimenting). I give this a 4 star because the other cables (The other '100 footer and a few jumpers I've bought a while back) were trouble free. Check cable before installing.

Used to hook up 6m antenna. No issues. Connectors screwed on cleanly. (I use a dielectric gunk to keep water out.) SWR fine. Good signal. Can't say how long it will last or what the signal will be like in 10 years. But good for now.

I used this to hook up my VHF antennae at the top of a 62 foot sailboat mast to my VHF radio. This cable is the best you can get for that and it shows in how strong my radio is picking up and transmitting now.

This cable is extremely well-made with super high quality components. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because in the 1 foot length that I bought it in, it is so rigid that it's a little hard to use. I got this to hook up my SWR meter inline for antenna tuning, and it does a great job, but it's so short and rigid, that I have to hold the SWR meter towards me while using it, otherwise the cable tries to go back straight and pulls the meter with it.

LMR-400 is an excellent low loss coax for HF, VHF or UHF. I would recommend this coax for outdoor installations.

It works fine, the connectors are fine, although again, not as beefy as those used by DXE, and they used heat-shrink tubing at the base of the connector.It shipped coiled up tighter than it should be too, so it'll fit in a 8.5 x 11 padded envelope. Doesn't seem to be damaged though.

I use this for VHF and UHF ham radio. I'm getting very nice SWR and power readings, and even with 50 ft the losses are very manageable. I highly recommend for UHF use - perhaps overkill if you don't go above VHF. Really nice quality.

This cable is on the south side of the house, so it's in the sun all day. I needed something fairly lossless and very durable so that I could mount a dipole antenna and run a rig in my basement office. This cable worked perfectly. This is very well built, the PL259 ends were flush, seemed like good material, and everything actually worked the first time I booted up the radio.

Yeah, the 1 foot cable came in at 11 inches. With the connectors it is about 12 inches. I'm only mentioning this because that little difference put it right on the line of being too short for what I had in mind. It's a great cable.

I purchased two of these cables, one to my Mosley TA33N/Warp and the other to my 40m inverted "V" antenna because I had SWR issues with both on the LMR-400 I was using cable. Bi-directional signal reporting is fine, no SWR issues. The radio is a Yaesu FTdx10, I tuned on every HF band, that's all. I would recommend this cable to all my ham radio friends.
