Knowledge of MMCX Connectors

The MMCX (Miniature Coaxial) connector series is a miniature version of the MCX. It is a 50-ohm impedance interface with DC to 6 GHz broadband capability and secure, fast, and simple snap-on/snap-off coupling. The MMCX connector has a smaller footprint than the MCX series and is available in a variety of configurations. 

MMCX connectors in this category will terminate to coaxial cables or PCBs (printed circuit boards). Our MMCX connector product line is built to exact microwave and RF industry specifications.

Like the MCX, the MMCX series is compliant with European CECC 22000 specifications.

The MMCX connector features a Snap-on / snap off coupling mechanism ensuring quick connect and disconnect mating which reduces the instillation time.


Available with straight and right angle plugs and printed circuit board connectors

MMCX connectors are rated to 500 pairing cycles. The connectors have a lock-snap mechanism allowing 360-degree rotation and usually have a 50 Ω impedance.

    The MMCX Jack is a decent product, but it's not the best one out there. The installation process was a bit complicated and the instructions were not very clear. The product works fine, but it could be better. The delivery was fast though, which was a plus.
