The N-type connectors feature a threaded coupling mechanism with a helical coupling mechanism to provide a robust and reliable connection. These connectors are used in all systems where superior RF and mechanical performance is critical. Connector styles are available for flexible, uniform, semi-rigid, and corrugated cable types. The series uses crimp and clamp cable termination processes.
The N type connectors are designed to meet the need for consistent performance of rugged, weatherproof, mid-size RF connectors, including models supporting up to 18 GHz. N type connectors are available in 50 Ohm and 75 Ohm impedances
