About D-sub Cable
D-sub is "D-sub miniature", also commonly called DB9, DB15, DB25, DB37, and DB50, where the numbers refer to the number of pins in the connector. They are commonly used for communication ports to create connections between different products such as computers, printers and power supply units, such as serial ports, parallel ports, SCSI and other connectors where the number of pins in the connector depends on the actual use. The common connector is DB9, and it is used for token ring networks as well as other computer networks and controller area networks.
