F-type male connectors use shielded/contact crimp/non-soldered contact as the connection method. F-type male coaxial connectors offer a minimum frequency of DC and a maximum frequency of 2 GHz.
F-type male coaxial connectors have PTFE dielectric type and VSWR of 1.35. F-type coaxial connectors have nickel plated brass bodies. Our F-type connectors use beryllium copper contacts and nickel plated material. This F-Type coaxial RF connector is RoHS compliant.
The F-Type connector series is a durable, high performance threaded interface. The primary applications for F-Type connectors are cable television (CATV), set-top boxes, and cable modems.

These are simple and easy to use connectors. I wouldn't rely on them being weatherproof. Or any other connector. You make them weather proof after you install them. Silicone tape is probably best for that but there are many options. Exactly as advertised and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more.

I bought this to splice the end off from a 10 cable in a spare bedroom & leave a much shorter section to tap into without having all the excess cable all over the floor. These work great with a crimp tool necessary to swedge the connection.

These were super easy to install. When crimping, my tool could not get the crimp tight enough. I had to use pliers to get it to hold onto the cable casing.
