I use a RG-174 feed line with my UHF/VHF HT HAM radio to the mag mount roof antenna on my car. These cables are not designed to handle the rigors of constant flexing and strain inevitable with this use.

Good connector, hard to fit pin to RG316 core (but it can be done)

These are good connectors, but the hole in the back of the center pin for soldering to the coax core is just a little too small for the Eightwood RG316 coax. It's a tight fit and you can get it to work, but it is nowhere near as smooth assembly as the Eightwood SMA Female connectors.
