The cable adapts D-sub 62 pin male to D-sub 9 pin female.
D-subs, also called D-subminiature connectors, are a type of electrical connector used for analog and digital video signals, serial and parallel data transmission, and high-reliability applications.
One special type of them is the High-Density DB style, which with pins that are slightly smaller and placed closer together. This is typically referred to as an "HD" connector. They are commonly referred to as "HD" connectors and are commonly available as DB-15HD (or even DB-15 or HD-15), DB-26HD (HD-26), DB-44HD, DB-62HD and DB-78HD.
