Cable appears to be of good quality with tightly woven shielding slightly visible through the jacket. N connectors are standard grade but should be good for my application. The heat shrink around connections and coax is of good quality and its longer length provides a little extra strain relief. Due to the specifics of my install, I still taped up points of potential moisture ingress with outdoor rated 3M tape, provided a service/drip loop and secured with cable ties. It should hold up well. Signal performance on VHF (2m) and UHF (70cm) are on par or better than my expectations for the given installation.

So I took this into the lab and first checked the connectors, which were pushing the short side of the allowed range, but still pass fine. That's important since a center pin that's too long can ruin the connector on the product you connect them to.
From there I took it over to the network analyzer and tested the path loss, which was less than half a dB over the expected range of use, maxing out under 0.6 dB at 6 GHz. In all exactly what I'd expect from a short cable like this.
The one thing that makes me wonder as to the cable design itself is that it's very stiff and bends into place, leading me to believe it's either using aluminum for the outer conductor or it's a "filled" copper conductor with solder embedded in the brain intentionally to create a formable cable. That makes this cable fine for its intended application of a permanent installation of a signal booster, etc. That way you can route the cable and it will stay where you put it. You wouldn't want to use this for a general purpose cable where you want flexibility.

Reason I got this was for a cell booster. Made a world of difference compared to the RG6 cable I had. Download speeds on 3g went from 1mbps to 3mbps and my uploads went from 0.5mbps to 1mbps. Cell tower is 32km away from us over 4 hills. Well worth getting quality cable! Cable itself is pretty rigid and tough. Had to get an adapter to go from the antenna to the cable and from the booster to the cable. Worked fine without issues.

It works well for me on the 70cm band. I only have 25ft of it and I tape it close to the connector so the weight of the cable isn't pulling on it. I also tape couple areas on the way down the pole. Very little loss (only 25 foot run) . Have it connected to diamond x50. My vhf swr fluctuates, but I believe that's the antenna. Connectors look good. But you never knew know until you take it apart someday. Anything changes I'll update.

Excellent quality cable and connectors. I used this for an ADS-B antenna and performance is right where it should be for the cable length. The connectors are solidly installed and the shrink tubing over the connectors and cable ends provide a solid physical connection. Still, one should also anchor the cable and not let it hang to prevent any possible separation. Very happy with this purchase and I plan to replace some RG-8 cables with this since the performance will be better at UHF frequencies with the LMR400.

High quality jumper good for UHF frequencies. Very stiff though, kind of as expected for LMR400, but seems to be even stiffer than the long runs of LMR400 I use. This jumper is used in my rover between the 432MHz transverter and the amplifier.
